Haslam confirms BSB challenge with Kawasaki for 2018

JG Speedfit Kawasaki's Leon Haslam will remain with Kawasaki for the 2018 MCE British Superbike Championship season and with his current Bournemouth Kawasaki team.

“Hopefully this year will go to plan and I’ll be challenging for a second BSB title next year.

“I thought long and hard about the World Superbike Championship offer from Manuel Puccetti for 2018 and he knows I’m disappointed to let him down but he fully understands the situation.

“I still want to go back there and challenge for the world title again but it would need to be with machinery equal to the factory Kawasakis and factory Ducatis that are dominating the championship at present.

“For 2018 I very much want to keep the same people around me in the JG Speedfit Bournemouth Kawasaki team and I know I can continue to win Kawasaki and the team.”
