Haslam bags more points in Argentina

Kawasaki Racing Team's Leon Haslam took three top 10 finishes at the Circuito San Juan Villicum in Argentina in round 12 of the World Superbike Championship at the weekend.

“Starting from 14th on the grid was hard work. I made it to sixth in the long race on Saturday and eighth in the first race on Sunday – and I don’t think I could have done much more because passing around this circuit has been hard.

"I was really looking forward to the last race. I got a good start and then got tangled with Tom Sykes. As I went up the inside of him he came into me and my handlebar got caught in his fairing. That dropped us back to pretty much last.

"I came through to be battling for eighth position at one point but we had destroyed the rear tyre and ended up going backwards for the last five or six laps.”
