Haslam on road to recovery after Knockhill crash

JG Speedfit Kawasaki's Leon Haslam is recovering from injuries sustained in a Friday morning practice crash ahead of Sunday's fourth round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at the Knockhill circuit in Scotland.

"It was tough not to be able to race at Knockhill but sometimes these things happen," said Haslam. "I was out in the early part of Friday's practice and just building speed when the rear just came right around on me.

"I've had a few highsides but normally a lot slower than 140mph! I've got a couple of little cracks in the back of my neck but the injuries are stable and I'm just focussed on getting back to normal and being ready for Snetterton."

Ends.
