Haslam chasing success in France

Kawasaki Racing Team's Leon Haslam goes in search of victory in round 11 of the World Superbike Championship at the Magny-Cours circuit in France on Saturday and Sunday.

“It has been a few years since I was in Magny Cours but I have some good memories of being there and I’ve had some podiums there.

"As always there, the temperature and weather is key and I remember getting my last podium there in the rain. I think I was on pole at Magny Cours in 2014 as well so I am looking forward to it.

"It is a track with a few big straights. There are a few areas I may struggle with in the dry but going into it knowing those areas hopefully we can rectify that rather than going into it blind.

"I am looking forward to this race weekend and it is the last European round of this year. I am still aiming for third in the championship so I hope we can come away with some solid podiums.”
